COVID-19 Event Safety

Health Attestation

By entering Oakland Arena, you agree to follow the current California Department of Public Health Guidelines for Indoor Mega Events. Specifically, you attest that you will comply with the vaccination or testing requirements detailed below for entry into the event.

All attendees of events inside the Oakland Arena MUST be verified as fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of the event. Full vaccination occurs two weeks after the final dose of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines or two weeks after the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. 

Accepted forms of verification:

  • A physical vaccination card
  • A digital copy of a vaccination card
  • Documentation from a healthcare provider
  • Molecular, PCR or Antigen test results from an official testing center.
  • A printed document from the test provider or laboratory, OR an electronic test result displayed on a phone or other device.
  • NO at-home tests will be accepted for entry.
  • Self-attestation may NOT be used as a mode of verification.

Beginning December 1st:

  • All attendees age 18 and older must provide identification to confirm the individual presenting proof of vaccination or negative test is the attendee entering the facility or venue.

Requirements for Children 12 and Under

  • All kids under the age of 12 (including children under the age of 2) will need to show proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. 
  • Guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth at all times, unless actively eating or drinking.

Face Coverings

Guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth at all times, unless actively eating or drinking. Gaiters, bandanas, and coverings with exhalation vents are prohibited; a face shield still requires a face covering. Face covering requirements will be determined based off of local country mandates at the time and date of each scheduled event at Oakland Arena.

Wash Your Hands Often

Clean your hands often by washing with soap and water for 20 seconds or using hand sanitizer. There are touchless hand sanitizer stations, faucets, paper towel dispensers, and soap dispensers throughout the venue.

COVID-19 Asuumption of Risk

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against AEG Management Oakland, LLC., ASM Global Parent, Inc., Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc., the City of Oakland, the County of Alameda, the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Authority, and Athletics Investment Group, LLC doing business as the Oakland Athletics and Oakland A’s, a Major League Baseball team, each of their affiliates or related entities, licensees, lenders and contractors, as well as each of their respective principals, shareholders, members, partners, officers, directors, employees, representatives, tenants, agents, volunteers successors and assigns relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.
