The operation of drones, unmanned aircraft and remote controlled aircraft anywhere on, around or over the premises is strictly prohibited without the advanced written consent of AEG Management Oakland. Violators may be subject to civil and criminal penalties.

  • Selfie Sticks Or Similar Devices

  • Fireworks

  • Projectiles, Including Inflatable Balls, Basketballs, Footballs And Frisbees
  • Still Cameras With Lenses Longer Than 3" (While Extended)

Oakland Arena may provide storage of your personal items at our Customer Accommodations Property Check-In if deemed appropriate (See Below: Customer Accommodations Property Check-In Procedure). Items left at the gates will be discarded. Oakland Arena and RingCentral Coliseum are not responsible for abandoned items.

Bag Check Procedures

Oakland Arena, RingCentral Coliseum, and their agents, are not liable for any damage to items left at Bag Check. By leaving your items at Bag Check, you agree that our liability for any loss or damage to those items is limited to $100. We will not accept or check items of unusual value. Bag Check will close 30 minutes after the event. Any items not claimed after an event will be sent to Lost and Found for a maximum of 30 days. There is a $10 fee per each checked bag. We accept cash and credit cards.

RingCentral Coliseum

For the safety and security of our guests, the following items are not permitted into RingCentral Coliseum. Please note all items may not be listed, and will be at the discretion of law enforcement or security at the entry gates.

All persons and items are subject to search. All items brought into the stadium are subject to search.

Refusal of any guest to cooperate will result in non-admittance into ring central coliseum. Management is not responsible for items left behind at the gate or items lost, stolen or damaged.

Athletics Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from entering the Coliseum: 

  • Aerosol Cans
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Bags/Purses/Backpacks/Soft-Sided Coolers larger than 16" x 16" x 8"
    • Size exceptions can be made for necessary Diaper and Medical bags (subject to inspection prior to entry)
  • Ball Retrieving Devices
  • Balloons
  • Bicycles, Hoverboards, Rollerskates, Scooters, and Skateboards
  • Brooms/Sticks/Poles/Clubs/Batons
    • Exceptions: Non-metal Drumsticks and Flag Sticks under 4 feet in length. Brooms are allowed for potential A's sweep of series only.
  • Bubble Machines
  • Camera Sticks, including selfie-sticks, monopods, and tripods
  • Cans, Flasks, Glass Bottles, Glass Containers
    • Alcoholic beverage bottles will not be checked at Bag Claim
  • Clothing with vulgar language or images
  • Compressed Air-Horns
  • Fireworks
  • Hard-Sided Coolers/Containers
  • Illegal Drugs and Substances
  • Laser Devices and Pointers
  • Mace and Pepper Spray
  • Marketing Materials (flyers, posters, stickers etc...)
    • Any third-party marketing campaigns must be approved by the Athletics prior to distribution
  • Non-Service Animals
  • Portable Chairs
  • Projectiles, including Inflatable Balls, and Frisbees
  • Unsealed Beverage Bottles (i.e. opened soda, water, & sports drinks)
  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones)
  • Weapons, Firearms, Knives, Tasers, or any Sharp Objects, including Pocket/Utility Knives of any size and Off-Duty Officers' Weapons
  • Whistles

Any item deemed by management to be dangerous, inappropriate or disruptive to other fans' enjoyment of the game is considered prohibited. 

The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum does not store prohibited items. Items surrendered at the gates will not be returned. The OACC and the Oakland Athletics are not responsible for abandoned items.

Athletics Permitted Items

The following items are permitted in the Coliseum:

  • Bags/Purses/Backpacks/Soft-Sided Coolers that are 16" x 16" x 8" or smaller
  • Banners and Signs
    • For information on this policy see BANNERS AND SIGNS
  • Baseballs
  • Baseball Bats
    • Must be checked at the Guest Experience Office located at Section 126 after the conclusion of batting practice
  • Food (in non-glass containers)
  • Hand Sanitizer, Make-Up, Lotion, and Sunscreen
    • Cannot be in aerosol or glass containers
  • Laptops and tablets
  • Noisemakers
    • Exception: Compressed Air-Horns and Whistles
  • Reusable Bottles and Cups, including metal and plastic - Must be empty
  • Factory Sealed Non-Alcoholic Beverages - Must be under 1 liter in size
  • Seat Cushions
  • Service Animals
  • Strollers
    • Must be folded and placed under seats or be checked at nearest Guest Experience location
  • Video Cameras and GoPro-style cameras for non-commercial use

Banners and Signs

Management reserves the right to remove any sign that does not comply with this policy. Signs and banners may be displayed at games as long as:

  • They do not obstruct the sight line of another guest.
  • They are not larger than 3' tall x 6' wide (to clarify, this applies to the total size of the sign, including without limitation where several signs are either connected together or displayed in close proximity to one another to form a continuous message) 
  • They are not in the field of play.
  • They do not interfere with gameplay or tend to distract any player (without limitation, signs are specifically prohibited throughout the "Diamond Level" seating area).
  • They do not cover up any existing signage.
  • They are not commercial in nature.
  • They do not contain obscene or inflammatory language.
  • They are not paraded around the stadium.
