ASM Global

The Coliseum Complex is jointly owned by the City of Oakland and Alameda County and managed by ASM Global. ASM Global, operates and consults with more than 300 of the world’s preeminent venues across five continents, providing complete venue management services including operations, guest services, ticketing, culinary services, content development, sales and marketing.

ASM Offices

ASM Global provides complete facility management and maintenance for the Oakland Arena. ASM business hours are, Monday- Friday from 8:30AM- 5:00PM and on event day to address facility-related issues. Please contact any Oakland Arena employee for assistance or call (510) 569-2121 and press "0" to be transferred to the operator. 

Alcohol

Beverages and/or food of any kind may not be brought into Oakland Arena. Alcoholic beverages are available at concession stands, beverage carts, and clubs throughout Oakland Arena. A valid government-issued photo ID is required to purchase alcohol.

Animals

Service dogs assisting guests with disabilities are permitted inside Oakland Arena. When purchasing your ticket(s), please let the Ticket Representative know that you have a service animal.

Assisted Listening Devices (ALD)

Assistive Listening Devices are available at the First Aid station located on the main concourse behind section 106.

Guests with visual or hearing impairments needing assistance may contact our ADA Coordinator at (510) 383-4817, TTY (510) 383-4619.

If service for a hearing disability or visual impairment is required during an event, please contact the nearest Guest Service Representative. Guests needing materials, special accommodations or services should make such a request to the ADA Coordinator at least 10 business days before the event. The ADA Coordinator may be unable to accommodate such requests made less than 10 days in advance due to time and coordination constraints.

Backpacks, Bags, & Purses

Bags larger than 14"X14"X6" and backpacks of any size are not allowed inside Oakland Arena.

Bag Check

Bag Check is not available for events at Oakland Arena. 

Banners & Signs

Banners and signs are permitted on a show-by-show basis as long as the information contained on them is not politically, religiously, or commercially motivated, do not carry obscene messages and do not interfere with the sightlines of other guests. Oakland Arena Guest Services Representatives reserve the right to ask any guest to remove a sign or banner from Oakland Arena. At times banners and signs may not be permitted due to the request of the artist performing. Please check the event page to ensure your banner or sign will be permitted for that event.

BART

The Coliseum BART station is located within convenient walking distance from Oakland Arena. Both BART and AC Transit make frequent stops at the Coliseum BART station, which is located on the east side of Oakland Arena and is connected to Oakland Arena via the overpass pedestrian bridge. Bicycle Racks

Bicycle racks are located at the north flagpole adjacent to parking Lot F.

Binoculars

Binoculars are permitted at Oakland Arena events.

Bottles & Cans

All glass bottles and aluminum cans are prohibited inside Oakland Arena.

Cameras

Cameras with lenses less than 3 inches in length (while extended) are permitted, but the use of a flash is not allowed. All types of video and audio equipment are not permitted in Oakland Arena.

Children's Admission

A ticket is required for children 24 months and older for sporting events and concerts. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) will have a different age policy. Please check the event listing page to determine if your child requires a ticket.

It is highly recommended that all children wear hearing protection headphones for all concerts and sporting events.

Donations

Oakland Arena is committed to providing assistance to charitable organizations, primarily in Alameda County. Through the donation of tickets, promotional items,and monetary contributions, Oakland Arena supports hundreds of community organizations and individuals annually.

Due to the high volume of requests received, Oakland Arena requires that all donation requests must meet the following criteria: Requests must be submitted in writing on the organization's letterhead. Requests must be sent at least 6-8 weeks prior to the event date. Please include a brief description of the event, including the date, location and name of the benefiting charity or organization. Requests for ticket donations must include the organization's 501(c)(3) tax determination letter. Donations are limited to one request per organization within a 12-month period.

All donation requests are generally reviewed within two weeks upon receipt; organizations will receive a written or e-mailed response.

Doors Open

For most shows, doors open one hour prior to the scheduled performance time.

Drop Off

Guests wishing to be dropped off should proceed to the Main Gate at 66th Avenue to be directed to the designated drop-off location for that specific event. Alternatively, guests can be dropped off at the Coliseum BART Station located east of Oakland Arena on San Leandro Street.

Elevators / Escalators

Arena Elevators:

  • One (1) on West Side, NEAR Section 114
  • Two (2) on East Side, NEAR Section 101

Arena Escalators:

  • One (1) on West Side, NEAR Section 115
  • One (1) on East Side, NEAR Section 128

Emergencies

Emergency exits are conveniently located on every level of Oakland Arena and are clearly identified by signs located above the doorway. In the event of an evacuation, please follow instructions of Arena Guest Services Representatives.

Family Restrooms

Family restrooms are equipped with accessible toilets, changing tables, and other amenities to aid our guests with special requirements. These specially equipped co-ed restrooms are located on both the main and upper concourses near sections 106 and 204.

First Aid

Complete first aid services are available on the main concourse behind section 106 for fans who require medical attention from licensed staff.

Food & beverage

Food and/or beverages of any kind cannot be brought into Oakland Arena. There are a wide variety of food and beverage items for guests' enjoyment. Please visit our Eat & Drink page for more information.

Guest Conduct

Oakland Arena strives to provide an entertaining and safe environment for all of our patrons. Fans who are found guilty of public intoxication, using offensive language, throwing objects or any other behavior deemed by Oakland Arena Guest Services Representatives as disruptive or dangerous in nature are subject to ejection from Oakland Arena.

Guest Services

Guest services booths are located on the main concourse outside of section 128 and on the upper concourse outside of section 215.

If you need assistance, please contact the nearest Oakland Arena Guest Services Representative, (i.e. ushers, ticket takers, and security) with any questions or concerns during an event at Oakland Arena. Our guest services staff will assist you with any needs and will help direct you to services throughout the facilities.

Guests may also send a text message to 510-500-8787 and include your section, row and seat number where you need assistance. Please note this number cannot accept text messages that include videos or photos.

Lost & Found

Lost and Found articles are left at Guest Services located on the Main Concourse outside of section 128 until the end of an event. All unclaimed lost and found items are stored in the Oakland Arena administrative offices for 30 days. To contact lost and found, please call 510-383-4660 or email lostandfound@coliseum.com.

Lost, Stolen, Destroyed, Forgotten Tickets

Lost, stolen, forgotten or destroyed concert and family show tickets should contact TicketMaster customer service at 1-800-462-2849.

Please note that any duplicated ticket issued will supersede the original for seating in Oakland Arena. Those using original tickets when duplicates have been issued will be questioned and denied entrance to Oakland Arena.

Merchandise

Merchandise is available for purchase at most concerts, family shows and sporting events. Merchandise stands can be found throughout the Oakland Arena and will only accept credit cards as a form of payment. 

Parking

We recommend purchasing pre-paid parking passes through Ticketmaster for Oakland Arena and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum events.

Public Transportation

Re-Entry Policy

No re-entry is permitted after you have exited Oakland Arena. Please see an Arena Guest Services Representative at the gate if you have extenuating circumstances.’

Restrooms

Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located throughout Oakland Arena. Additionally, Oakland Arena features two family restrooms, which are located at Section 106 and Section 204.

 

Rideshare

Guests taking rideshare at Oakland Arena events will need to proceed to the rideshare pick-up/drop-off point at Baldwin Gate. Baldwin Gate will open 2 hours before the event start time. Visit the Getting Here page for more info.

 

Security

The Oakland Arena staff is committed to ensuring a safe and fun environment for everyone. As a security measure, coolers, backpacks and other large bags are not allowed into Oakland Arena. Oakland Arena will deny entry into the facility to those who carry any of the items mentioned until they are stored elsewhere by the ticket holder. Oakland Arena will not assume the responsibility for the storage of any of these items.

Sensory Inclusion

Sensory bags, equipped with noise canceling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards and weighted lap pads are available to all guests at the arena who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. Sensory bags are located at the Main Concourse Guest Service Booth located at the East Entrance, and at First Aid in Section 106.

Single Event Tickets

Single concert and  family show can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com or at the Oakland Arena Box Office.

Smoking Policy

No smoking of any kind is permitted in Oakland Arena. Patrons who fail to comply with this policy may be subject to ejection from Oakland Arena.

Ticket Reselling Policy

Oakland City Ordinance No. 7311 CMS, Section 6-3.19, prohibits the sale of tickets and any other articles (except at authorized ticket booths) within any public building, or on public grounds at Oakland Arena or Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and public parking lots adjacent thereto. Those found selling tickets on our property are subject to arrest.

Ticket Sales

Ticket sales for concerts, family shows and special events can be accessed through Ticketmaster, or by making a visit to the Box Office.

 

Tours

Oakland Arena Tours are no longer available at this time.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are permitted at Oakland Arena.

Oakland Arena also offers accessible parking, which is located in the first two rows of the parking lot, closest to Oakland Arena. Spaces are limited.

Additionally, there are three elevators at Oakland Arena which are ADA accessible. The first is located on the west side near section 114; the other two are located on the east side near section 101.

Guests requiring the use of a wheelchair can sit in either their wheelchair or an actual Arena seat. Oakland Arena however can not store wheelchairs for guests.

Will Call

The “Will Call” window is located on the Plaza Level at the Oakland Arena Box Office. Will Call tickets are available for pickup on the scheduled event day. Guests picking up tickets at “Will Call” are required to show a valid photo ID in their name. The name on the valid photo ID must match the name on the will call ticket envelope. No exceptions to his policy can be made.

Please note Will Call tickets may only be picked up the day of the scheduled event.
